Before being grilled, these Grilled Country Style Ribs are dry rubbed with a mix of ground cumin, oregano, black pepper, and other warm spices. The exterior gets crusty and the tender interior is juicy. No typical BBQ sauce on these for an alternative, but feel free. Plus, no rib bones to deal with, just seasoned meat!.
Whenever I think of ribs, I picture a tender piece of meat that has been well-seasoned and covered in a tasty, sticky sauce with a little kick. If you want a great meal, you don’t always need sauce on your ribs. Just like my Memphis Style Ribs.
Take these Grilled Country Style Ribs for instance. Personally, I chose a dry rub with a Mediterranean feel, but you can use any dry rub you like. For the “mop sauce” I just used lemon juice and a little honey.
No BBQ Sauce on this round of ribs, but again, feel free to use whatever you like. The cooking time on these will be the same.
