Ready to get your feast on? The weekend of June 18 is when Gordon Ramsay Restaurants worldwide are celebrating #BeefWellingtonDay with a host of luxurious specials and the launch of a new series of masterclasses.

The historic Battle of Waterloo ended on June 18, 1815. The Duke of Wellington and his army beat Napoleon just outside of Brussels. This date has become a big deal in our kitchens.

Beef Wellington is a classic dish that many people think is the best food ever, so this is a great reason to celebrate it.

Over the years Beef Wellington has become a Gordon Ramsay Restaurants signature. It is always on the menu at London’s fancy Savoy Grill, where it is served with horseradish cream and red wine jus. At Heddon Street Kitchen, which is just off Regent Street, couples love to share it with a bowl of mash that changes with the seasons.

No wonder we feel duty-bound to lead the charge celebrating this sumptuous dish!
